I am a long-time community activist. As such, I know what the residents of District 6 want—and need. I have fought for quality upscale retail; white table cloth restaurants; 24-7 access to Arena Drive; commercial office development; central processing center for our police; career and tech apprenticeship programs in our public schools; quality development around our metro stations; federal and state agencies to be located in the county; increased highway and road improvement dollars; more health clinics; mental health treatment centers; and more.
As a community activist, I too have been a proponent and advocate of business. I have served on the board of the Chamber of Commerce and three terms as Chair of the Economic Development Committee, and one term as Chair of the Quality of Life Committee.
As your County Councilmember, I will fight for the interests of the community on the County Council. And, I will continue to be accessible as I have been for over 20 years.
The concerns and interests of the Community will always be a top priority for me. I am community!!
